Haroon Qayum TEP

Haroon is an experienced private client solicitor, previously a partner at firms in Birmingham and Harrogate.

He advises families and individuals on Wills, Trusts, Estate Administration, Lasting Powers of Attorney, and Inheritance Tax Planning, with a focus on strategic succession planning for family businesses and cross-border assets. Known for balancing technical expertise with soft skills, he helps family business clients navigate sensitive generational issues and works closely with professional advisors to provide tailored, comprehensive advice.

A full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), Haroon holds several advanced certificates, all passed with Distinction, in Cross-Border Estates, Advising the Family Business, and Family Business Governance. He is a trustee of The Solicitors’ Charity and vice-chair of the IoD North Yorkshire branch. Haroon was born and raised in Yorkshire and served as President of the Cambridgeshire & District Law Society from 2014 to 2015.
